Rights and obligations of the accredited person
Accreditation in the national accreditation system gives the accredited person (certification body or testing laboratory) certain rights and obligations regulated by law.
Rights of an accredited person
- Use of the accreditation mark: An accredited person has the right to use the mark and refer to his status in the documentation and materials.
- Access to information: An accredited person may receive information from the national accreditation system related to its activities and procedures.
- Provision of services: An accredited person has the right to provide certification, inspection or testing services within the scope of his/her competence.

Duties of the accredited person

Liability for breach of duty
In case of violation of his duties, the accredited person may face various liability measures:
